Wokha, September 17 (DIPR): Implementation of Swachh Pakhwada in Wokha district was held on September 15 at DC conference hall, Wokha organized by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, District Mission Authority, Wokha.
Giving a brief introduction, Deputy District Education Officer, Wokha, Sentinenla, said that apart from conducting cleanliness drive in the schools during the 14 day long programme an essay and toilet cleaning competition was also organized, which was participated by 4 GMS schools and Government Higher Secondary School from Wokha town.
Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Wezope Kenye, while interacting on the activities undertaken during the last fourteen days with the student’s, the DC said to the students that, you are all privileged ones studying in the best schools with all the required infrastructure and facilities and urged them to be sincere and set positive goals and targets to become responsible citizens.
After declaring the results of the competition by ADC, SSA (DMA) Wokha, P. Zubenthung Humtsoe, the DC gave away cash awards and citation certificates to the winners of essay and toilet cleaning competition.
