Kiphire, August 26 (MExN): The Kiphire District Taekwondo Association (KDTA) held the District Taekwondo Selection Meet at Town Hall, Kiphire town on August 26. As per a press release, forty Taekwondo students from associations, clubs and schools affiliated to the KDTA under Kiphire and Pungro circles participated with at the event. KDTA coach Aliba Sangtam (black belt 3rd Dan) delivered the introductory welcome address, while the general secretary Justin Khatomong T exhorted the participants. The association congratulated Achungla Sangtam, a student of class IV from Cambridge High School Kiphire. She was conferred the Youngest Girl black belt degree holder in the state recently.
