Taxpayers outreach prog in Dimapur concludes

Mokokchung, November 26 (MExN): The Central GST Commissionerate Dimapur conducted a taxpayers outreach programme on Sabka Vishwas Scheme and the New GST Return at Hotel Whispering Winds, Mokokchung on November 25. 

In the first session, a presentation was made on the Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019 which offers a golden opportunity to taxpayers for closing their pending disputes relating to previous service tax and central excise cases that are now subsumed under GST. 

In the second session a presentation was made on the New GST returns which are likely to be introduced in the next financial year. The changes and benefits of the new returns were discussed during the session. The programme was attended by the business community, taxpayers and also officers of State GST.
