TUENSANG, APRIL 13 (MExN): The Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA) has informed that any association, clubs or group which desires to conduct any private football tournaments under Tuensang District should obtain authorization letter from TDFA in consultation with the Nagaland Football Association (NFA). A press release from the TDFA informed that this is in reference to a letter received from the Nagaland Football Association and an All India Football Federation Circular to notify the procedures for the conduct of private football tournaments. All regulations of AIFF/FIFA/AFC and laws of the games must be strictly followed by the organizers, players and officials, the TDFA informed, adding that all teams must also carry a no objection certificate from their parent association. No team will be allowed to participate without the NOC obtained from their parent association to take parts in the tournaments; and no team from Tuensang District would be allowed to participate in out-station competitions without obtaining NOC from TDFA, it informed. Failure to abide by this rule, TDFA shall not take any responsibility, if NFA/AIFF imposes any action against the organizers or teams/clubs of Tuensang District, it cautioned.
