DIMAPUR, MARCH 4 (MExN): ‘Teammate,’ a body who are actively doing sports ministry here in dimapur for the past years, has decided to organised a church league. A press note informed that 15 Ao Baptist Churches have responded to participated. The note stated that the league, which began this Saturday, is being organized in order to encourage the youth to wake up early in the morning (6:00am match), conduct short sports ministry before and after the match, develop friendship among the different Baptist churches, and motivate them to keep fit The church league will be played every Saturday morning at 6 am for the next three months with a theme for ministry assigned for every month. On March 4, Chumukedima Ao Baptist Church defeated Diphupar B 9-1, while DABA defeated Purana Bazar B 7-0 and Padumpukhri Ao Baptist Church drew with East Dimapur Ao Baptist Church 4-4.
