Tetseo Sisters share their stories at TEDxIIM

Nagaland's Tetseo Sisters shared their experiences at TEDxIIM Ranchi on January 28 at Ranchi. They told the ‘Tale of a Thousand Songs’ recounting their journey as folk artistes who have fought against the odds - stereotypes, poor infrastructure, language barriers and broke out from the remote NE region with their signature sound and style to make it to the international stage and national recognition.   TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 110 languages.   This was the 6th Edition of TEDxIIM Ranchi with a total of 11 speakers who spoke on the theme "Defiers of Murphy's Law".
