Chümoukedima, February 24 (MExN): The Department of Education, Tetso College, in collaboration with the Research & Development Cell, Tetso College, and Department of Education, Eastern Christian College, Padum Pukhuri, organised a one day workshop on ‘Learn How to Prepare a Research Proposal’ at the Lorin Hall, Tetso College.
The workshop was graced by Dr Prasenjit Pal, Assistant Professor, Department of Teacher Education, Nagaland University, as the guest speaker. Dr Pal emphasised the importance of crafting a well-structured research proposal, highlighting essential components such as problem identification, literature review, research methodology, and expected outcomes. He elaborated on best practices for formulating clear research questions and hypotheses, as well as the significance of ethical considerations in academic research.
The guest speaker also provided practical strategies for refining research proposals to align with funding and publication requirements, making his session highly informative and beneficial for attendees. The session also included a hands-on training segment, allowing participants to apply their learning in real-time.
Attendees engaged in interactive discussions where they received personalized feedback on their research proposals. A question-and-answer round was conducted, where participants seek clarifications and engage in meaningful discussions with Dr Pal.
