
Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): NSCN (IM) Ato Kilonser Th Muivah has mourned the demise of Atovi Swu, Kilonser, Sumi Region, GPRN, who passed away on October 11 at Faith Hospital, Dimapur, after a prolonged illness.
“Late Atovi Swu joined the national movement with full commitment and conviction. He has shouldered various responsibilities in his capacity and in the satisfaction of all,” Muivah stated in a condolence message on Wednesday. Stating that late Swu had exhibited the true spirit of a nationalist, the Ato Kilonser said that “The sacrifices and services rendered to the Nation shall be remembered and cherished in all times.”
In another message, Muivah mourned the demise of W Kemping, Kilonser, Makuilongdi (ZLR) who breathed his last on October 12.
The Ato Kilonser stated that late Kemping, who is from Makui village, joined the national movement with “full conviction and commitment,” and was assigned with various responsibilities. “In his death, a vacuum has been created none can ever fill. The sacrifices and services rendered shall be honoured and cherished in the days to come,” the statement read.
Muivah conveyed condolences to both the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls to rest in peace.
