The Nagaland team competed in the 5th North East Pencak Silat Championship 2023, which was held from April 21 to 23 at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Kang Shang, Imphal, Manipur. Kevin from semester II of Livingstone Foundation International College participated in the Championship and won two gold medals, one in Tanding competition, Male Senior heavyweight Category and another in Senior Group Artistic Event Regu. Overall, the Nagaland team won 25 medals and emerged as the 2nd runner-up by winning 7 Gold, 4 Silver, and 14 Bronze medals.
