At present, we heard about the news of fighting, killings, and bombardment on civilian people, they are killing and fleeing as IDP or refugees to other countries. The people have no peace at all. Why is it happening to the world? is the question we have to ponder. Rev Billy Graham said, “Man was created in the image of God, and cannot find complete rest, happiness, joy, and peace until he comes back to God”.
As Rev Billy Graham said; God created man in His own image. But men did not know Him nor worship Him, instead they became wickedness, except Noah. God, therefore, made the flood cover the face of the whole world and blot out the wicked people by the flood (Genesis 7:21).
But as He loved so much the mankind whom He created, He lastly sent His begotten Son to the world in the human form, named ‘Jesus’ for the salvation of mankind. Jesus taught the world about the existence of God and for the salvation of mankind, saying; “For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that who believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life”. “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one come to the Father but through me”. (St John 3:16, and 14:6). He (Jesus) also founded His Church in the world for the salvation of mankind from generation to generations.
The Church took the responsibility to teaching the world about existence of eternal God, the creator, and the same is Jesus Christ. It is now nearly about two thousand years after Jesus founded His church in AD 33 (Matt.16:18). But out of the 8.2 billion population of the world, only 2.4 billion accepted Jesus Christ as a living and eternal God, creator of mankind.
Even though God so love the world that He sent His begotten Son for the salvation of mankind and His son taught the world to believe in Him but up to date, more than 80% of world population are yet to accept Him. This is the reason that the world has no peace today.
In this world there are four major Religions, such as Hinduism, Islam. Buddhism, Jahwists, are yet to accept Jesus Christ as the eternal God and creator even after 2025 years of Jesus was born to the world. Because they think, Jesus was born only in AD 1 and He is not an eternal God. Because of this thought in Jesus’ days, Jesus said to Jewish leaders that I am the God of your father Abraham. “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day, he saw it and was glad” (St John 8:56). When Jews said, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am” (St John 8:58). With these words, He testified Himself that He is a living and immortal God.
Even Jewish people wanted to kill Jesus, for He claims Himself to be a Son of God and arrested Him to be killed for His blasphemy, but He never recanted His words. Due to His word, they crucified Him. But after He rose from the dead, He said to His disciples, “Lo, I am with you always event to the end of the age” (St Matthew 28:20). This also, testified that He is a living and eternal God.
Moreover, He testified Himself as God of all nations by saying; “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”(St. Matthew 28:19).God the Father also testified that Jesus as the light of the world in 700 BC before Jesus was born, by saying; “I will also make You (Jesus) the light of nations, so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth” (Isaiah 49:6). This is proved the fact that Jesus is God of all nations to be worshiped by all mankind. But most people of the world are yet to see Him as the only God of mankind.
Again, He testified Himself that He came from the Father, saying; “I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father” (St John 16:28). After He rose from dead, He spent forty days with His disciples and while He was blessing His disciples, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven, (Luke 24:51). This also testified that He is a living and eternal God.
However, God the creator of mankind never forced men to worship Him but gives mankind freedom to choose to worship. He gives salvation without price. He who chooses to accept the salvation of Jesus Christ will have eternal live. Jesus said, “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day”. (St John 6:54).
Jesus also said; “Whoever speak against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come” (Matthew 12: 32).
This means, he who knowingly rejected to worship Him shall never be forgiven him in this age or in the age to come (after dead). Today, I hope, no man is left unheard about Jesus was born to the world and gave up his life on the Cross for the salvation of mankind. But till date, around 80% of the world population is yet to accept Jesus Christ as God of the world to be worshiped by all mankind.
If the nations of the world comprehended about the facts of the living God or Jesus Christ as mentioned above, no one would be left unbelieved. If 60% of world population trust in Jesus Christ as an eternal God and savior of the world, then the world would have peace today or tomorrow and forever.
