Eastern Naga National Organization
My dear country men,
I thank God for protecting and leading the Nagas up to this day with unfurling love and power. We observe this auspicious 69thhistoric Day, because the Eastern Nagas “free Nagas” or un-administered Nagas and South-west Nagas those who fell under the British Colonial administration formed the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) 68 years ago on this day in 1956 amid aggressor the Indian armed forces carried out a full-scale war against the Nagas. Though the FGN faced overwhelming odds of ups and downs in political situations from within and without, but unwaveringly stood to defend the sovereignty of Nagaland up to date and which the Nagas are proud of it. ‘
The Eastern Nagas (under Burma military occupation), however, formed the Eastern Naga National Organization (ENNO) and Eastern Nagas Defense Army (ENDA) on 6thNovember 2021 with the compelling situation of East and West under the Military occupation of Burma and India, but the ENNO/ENDA takes the NNC/FGN as a parent body of our nation because it covers all the Naga territory and people. After we achieve the recognition of the sovereignty of Nagaland by the world, no more ENNO or a separate government of the Eastern Nagas but only one government for the whole people of Nagaland, because we are not a separate nation entity by nature. The ENNO/ENDA stands to defend our sovereignty based on the Naga national history, which is a history of Naga National Council (NNC).
As Nagas are one nation, we will have one Naga National Flag and one Yehzabo (Constitution) which was recognized from the beginning by the NNC/FGN. Only we may add some appropriate words in the Yehzabo but nothing will change the meaning. We love the Naga traditional democracy and will stand for it, but will not for a foreign political ideology, and neither will stand for a political issue nor factionalism, which will dilute the Naga national issue. There will be no room for factionalism and political playing ground in Eastern Nagaland by using false propaganda, false accusations, and killing innocent Nagas, which had happened after the formation of the so-called NSCN in 1980 in Eastern part of Nagaland. I request none of the factional leaders disturb the Eastern Naga people again. We will speak foremostly for our Eastern Naga people.
We will build up a strong unification and solidarity of Eastern Nagaland based on the truth and facts of Naga national history. I invite all the Eastern Nagas, particularly young people to stand for the truth, the right cause of our nation, and to oppose force conscription of Myanmar Military Juntas by any means and join hands with the ENNO/ENDA to liberate our Eastern Nagaland from the Myanmar military occupation.
