Three including infant hurt in Meghalaya accident

Three persons including an infant sustained minor injuries, after a truck went off the National Highway 6 and rammed into a house located along the highway at 18 Mile, Ri Bhoi district of Meghalaya today, according to reports received.

The incident occurred when the truck was proceeding from Shillong towards Guwahati. Apparently, the truck was over speeding and on reaching at 18th Mile  he lost control of the vehicle, the reports added.

In the incident the driver, the handyman and one child identified as David Suting (2), son of Suklang Suting, received minor injuries and were shifted to Nongpoh Civil hospital by NHAI ambulance for medical treatment.
