MOKOKCHUNG, JULY 18 (MExN): The Spearhead Motorsport Initiative (SMI), Mokokchung will be conducting ‘Throttle Thrust III’ on August 2 and 3 at Longkhum Village in celebration of Tsungremmong Hornbill Festival, Mokokchung.
A press note from the organizers informed that the event will have two formats of competition – Hill climb and Autocross under three categories: SUV, Below 1300cc and Above 1300cc. Hill climb format of competition is first of its kind in Nagaland which will be hundred percent tarmac. The flag off of the event will be done at Imkongmeren Sports complex on August 2. A cash prize of upto 3 lakhs with trophies and certificates will be won at the event. Registration for the competition is open from July 20. On spot registration and scrutiny will be done on August 1 from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm at Imkongmeren Sports Complex.
