Time to stamp out anti-Naga virus from Naga struggle

The explicit pronouncement of virtual surrender of the Naga’s aspiration by N.KITOVI ZHIMOMI on 29th Feb. reconciliation programme and his stern caution that further lives would be lost and blood shall flow if the Nagas opposes the betrayal already proposed by him is indeed coming true. In the entire history of the struggle, the Nagas have never witnessed a masked killers acting as vigilante, for the issue is inherently about identity, self-determination and legitimately political.

The true Naga national workers have never been ashamed to fight the enemy openly and honourably, where as the recent assassination bid on NSCN/GPRN, Sumi Region’s Vice-Chairman at Zunheboto on 15th March 2012 tells an entirely different story. The masked gunmen sneaked into the town area through the drainage channel and fired at the victim in full automatic fire, the bullet pock marks in the shop unmistakably testify that the shots were never fired in the air, the shop where the Vice-Chairman took cover was indeed on the ground and the sustained injury on the finger exposes Kitovi’s hollow justification. The civilians in the area bore witness to how the desperate masked killers attacked the victim.

Kitovi’s reputation as one chronic and thick skinned liar is nothing new, he would go to any extent to realise his goal of betrayal and would still try to justify the treason, but how long can he fool the Nagas?.

Meanwhile the NSCN/GPRN apprehended three Khehoi assassins at Mon town two days prior to Zunheboto incident with two pistols, sent on secret killing mission by Kitovi and Neokpao to liquidate NSCN leaders stationing at Mon. The three killers were kept under People’s Army custody and undergoing interrogation. Where as on learning of the interception and arrest of their henchmen in Mon town, Kitovi immediately directed his other goons hiding in his native village Ghukiye near Zunheboto to go in masks and attack any NSCN members in Zunheboto so as to force the NSCN to expedite the extermination of his three assassins under our custody in order to hush up the aborted mission as well as discredit the NSCN.

N. Kitovi’s lust for blood and cheapest diabolism-to bring disunity among the Konyaks by forcing the NSCN to give capital punishment to three Konyaks does in no manner bear weight or swing the tide in his favour, rather it is an act of digging grave for his own burial. It is expected of Kitovi to resort to further killings of national workers as in fulfilment of his oath to spill blood and waste lives if the Nagas refuse to be a part of his non-sovereignty and non-integration settlement.

The Nagas are appealed to be wary of another betrayal doing hectic business in the name of reconciliation.
