KOHIMA, APRIL 10 (DIPR): Kohima Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh Soundararajan has issued an order stating that the road connecting Tinpatti-Naga Hospital (Bypass road) will be closed for all kinds of traffic with immediate effect till further orders as it is unsafe. The order states that the District Administration has carried out spot verification based on the reports received from PWD Department regarding the potential caving-in of the stretch of road near Soul Harvest Church where retaining wall construction is going on. In this connection, all the commuters have been requested to take note of the same and use other alternate roads and be mindful of the resultant traffic jam in other roads because of the same and plan their movement accordingly. The order has been issued in the interest of public safety and to avoid any mishap and all concerned have been informed to comply with it accordingly.
