Kohima, May 1 (MExN): The Khonoma Youth Organization and Khonoma Village Council have informed the general public that tourism related activities like camping and picnicking in Khonoma jurisdiction will be restricted with effect from May 1.
The restriction is in support of the consolidated guidelines order issued by the State government owing to the rapid spread of COVID-19. To avoid the pandemic from spreading further, the organizations requested all concerned to take the notification seriously, failing which, defaulters will be penalized.
“Khonoma will be open again for visitors once the COVID situation gets normalized,” they stated.
