Morung Express News Dimapur | March 25 Parliamentary Secretary for Economics & Statistics, Tovihoto Ayemi on Saturday visited the fire-ravaged site at Khermahal, Dimapur where a major fire broke out on March 23 and displaced at least 34 families and properties worth Rs 90 lakhs believed to have been destroyed. Tovihoto went around the site littered with debris of the houses gutted by fire. Later, addressing the victims and leaders from various organizations, Tovihoto expressed sadness and solidarity with the victims. He comforted them by assuring that all efforts would be made to approach the district administration and government for any sort of assistance. Tovihoto thanked those individuals and organizations that came forward to assist the victims. During the brief interaction, GB and Chairman of Khermahal, NPF Minority Wing and other NPF officials were also present.
