Kohima, January 17 (MExN): The Tenyimi Peoples' Organization (TPO) has voiced support for the Rengma Hoho’s demand for a separate district. “The TPO feels the aspiration of the Rengma people to be deserving and legitimate as they stand adequate in all aspects to meet the challenges,” a statement from TPO President Timikha Koza and General Secretary Vipopal Kintso stated. In this connection, the TPO urged the Nagaland government, especially the leaders in the helm of affairs, to positively consider the matter “in the interest of fairness and the common march of Naga people towards development and upliftment.”
