PUNGRO, MAY 16 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Pungro, Hotolu Sema has issued a public notice imposing partial traffic restrictions on vehicular movement between New Vongti and Moya village under Pungro sub-division in Kiphire district.
The restriction will remain in force from May 18, 2026, to June 17, 2026, to facilitate and expedite ongoing earth and rock-cutting operations along the road stretch.
According to the official directive, the daily restriction windows will be enforced from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The general public has been advised to take note of these timings and plan their travel accordingly to minimize inconvenience.
Meanwhile, the ADC has directed the concerned contractors to ensure that medical emergencies and essential movements of government servants on official duties are not obstructed during the restriction hours.
The administration has expressed deep regret for any inconvenience caused, the State DIPR reported.
