Longleng, August 29 (MExN): The Nagaland Health Project under the Department of Health and Family Welfare organized a four day training of Health Committee Members and Frontline Health Workers of Longleng District on ‘Community Action for Health and Nutrition’ at IDSP Hall, Chief Medical Office Longleng starting from August 22. The training was led by Dr Thomas Keppen Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Pukhato, Consultant Community Mobilisation, and Imlimongla Jamir, District Facilitator, Peren where they spoke on introduction to Nagaland Health Project and Communization, basic health concepts, preconditions, target indicators, action plan development and documents and reports.
The training was attended by the Health Centre Management Committee of Primary Health Centre Yachem, Village Health Committees of Noksosang, Yaongyimchen, Alayong and Sanglu, Richard Thong District Facilitator Longleng, Field Demonstrators Langmei Phom and Mopling M Phom, NHM Staffs Longleng. The programme was attended by over 100 participants.
