Kohima, March 21 (MExN): Administrative Training Institute, Kohima conducted a one day training programme on ‘General Awareness on Duties of Citizens’ on March 15 at ATI for the wards/colony leaders in Kohima.
ATI Joint Director (M) &Course Director, Leto Savino in a press release said that the resource persons were Pheluopfelie Kesiezie, Administrator Northfield, S Among Ao, (Rtd Secy, Home to the Government of Nagaland) and Mezivolu T Therieh, NJS Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kohima.
The topic discussed in the sessions are Role of a citizen, Care for Public Property/Public Utility, Respecting Government Rules and Regulations, Neighbourhood Relation, Legal Rights of citizen. During the sessions some of the negative issues prevailing in the wards/colony and how to tackle them were also shared and discussed by the respective wards leaders.
Altogether 36 participants from 12 wards attended the programme.
