Kohima, December 16 (MExN): A one day exposure visit of District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) members to SHGs and training programme for SHGs leaders and members was held at RD Block Jakhama which was jointly organized by NABARD, Lead Bank Office and NSRLM on December 14.
A press note received here stated that Bendang Aier, AGM NABARD in the keynote address stressed on how to deal with the banks. Vitsituo Mepfhuo BPM, NSRLM BMMU, Jakhama delivered on an overview of NSRLM activities. SHG Bank Linkages Status and issues thereof was presented by Pelebeituo Peter Solo District Coordinator (FI) NSRLM DMMU Kohima. Kevinguno Mera BPM SVEP also shared the status and work of SVEP in the block.
Lead District Manager, Kohima District Vizoto gave training on SHG-BLP (Bank Linkage Programme). Akhrie Yhome from the Department of Agriculture also spoke at the programme where he encourages the SHGs members to fully utilize the mechanism available for them. After the training there was an interface with the stakeholders. Rokono Kisotso, Secretary JTBLF, Jakhama Block gave the vote of thanks.
The training programme was attended by NSRLM Jakhama Block SHGs, Nagaland Rural Bank, Nagaland state cooperative Bank, Bank of India and Department of Agriculture.
