Kohima, June 6 (MExN): A two weeks in-house training on human resource management sponsored and conducted by National Institute of Technical Teacher’s Training and Research, Kolkata got underway at Government Polytechnic Kohima.
The inaugural function was graced by Er Arjun Singh, Director, Technical Education as special guest. The Director lauded the initiatives of National Institute of Technical Teacher’s Training and Research, Kolkata and Principal Government Polytechnic Kohima for organising the program for the benefit of teaching faculty members. He stressed on the need for getting AICTE on-line registration by all the polytechnics of the state.
Touching the topic of human resource management, the Director urged the participants to think for the student’s career and respect the government job. He also mentioned about the benefit of In-House Training as many faculty members can be given required trainings without the hassle of sending them outside the state. Earlier, Prof. Sukanta Naskar, Associate Professor, CDC NITTTR, Kolkata highlighted the objectives of the training.
The programme was chaired by Modovina Mocha, faculty in Fashion Technology with a short speech from Er Vipulhou Lhoungu, Principal, Government Polytechnic Kohima, who thanked the Director, NITTTR, Kolkata for allowing the program to be conducted at the Institute.
Khrurhulu Rhi, contestant, Gospel Voice Hunt Season III presented a special song. Vote of thanks was pronounced by Zhapulhoulie Rupreo, Lecturer, Civil Engineering, Government Polytechnic Kohima.
