Training programme on mushroom cultivation concludes

Kohima, November 26 (MExN): The 13-day training programme on Mushroom Cultivation and Vermicomposting under Micro Enterprise Development Programme (MEDP) in Phek district for SHGs was culminated today at Pfütsero.

It was sponsored by NABARD in collaboration with Chakhesang Women Welfare Society (CWWS).

The valedictory programme was attended by Imsunaro DDM Phek, NABARD, Mhathung Khuvung Branch manager, NStCB Pfütsero branch and subject expert Dr Esther T Longkumer, ACTO, Soil Science KVK Phek.

The speakers encouraged the trainees to actively start up their enterprises with supports from bank.

The trainees were given mushroom spawns so as to start up their enterprises.

Ngunyi-ü Khape, SHG member shared her experiences while Zechete-ü Nursery programme coordinator, CWWS gave closing remark.
