Kohima, February 28 (MExN): The ongoing Transformation Crusade saw an assembly of few thousand people each day at Kohima Local Ground from February 26-28, according to a press release received here.
On February 26, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, the speaker, shared his message on the theme ‘Arise and Shine’ (Isaiah 60:1). Stating that "Satan is a spirit of darkness and cannot withstand light," he said, "Jesus is the light and His light must shine in us”.
He further reminded that Jesus is the light of the world and whoever follows Him shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.
The press release further informed that counselling and deliverance for “satanic worshipping influenced and alcoholics” will be available at the ground starting from 12:00 noon.
Meanwhile, on February 27, Rev. Moa Longchari, Senior Pastor, Baptist Mission Church preached on God’s love and salvation. Testifying his earlier disbelief in miraculous healing, he exhorted that God is able to do anything as “he is the greatest physician and the Chief Doctor.” He further said that faith accompanied by action brings miracle and called upon the congregation in need of physical and inner healing. Hundreds responded to the call and testified about receiving healings, the press release stated.
Sharing about how God used Noah despite his rebellious character, Rev. Moa said that the qualification to receive God’s love is to receive it as unmerited favour. Further, elaborating on the love of God and the need of God’s grace, he reminded the people present that no one is perfect or completely good or bad; therefore, everybody needs God’s grace. “God does not accept you for your perfection but for your belief in Jesus Christ and his love is so true indeed that he never leaves anyone though a sinner,” he added.
Rev. Moa further reminded that God is always ready to forgive like Noah. “Therefore, when God is not in you then you will feel the emptiness which cannot be filled by anything and whoever has not tasted God’s love and power has missed the greatest thing in life,” the speaker expounded.
On February 28, the sermon was delivered by Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, who emphasized on the importance of worship. Stating that worship has different forms like songs, giving, preaching, meditation, etc, he said knowing to worship leads to know and understand God. Rev. Zotuo further said true worshippers worship the father in truth and in spirit, and Satan is afraid of true worshippers. “The more time you give for worship, the better you know God and draw closer to him,” the speaker added.
According to the release, 117 people of all ages have been counselled in the crusade so far, while the “prayer warriors” consisting of 29 prayer groups continue to hold prayer chain round the clock.
