Wokha, September 28 (MExN): The Transformation Crusade with the theme ‘Arise & Shine’ is underway at Wokha Town Baptist church. More than 3000 people attended the second day crusade.
Sharing on the second day, theme speaker Mezhüsevi Zutso emphasized on understanding the Holy Spirit. He reminded the congregation present to understand and ponder on how Jesus prayed to the Holy Spirit, to descend and help the people when He dies. He said the Holy Spirit is another of the same kind of Jesus in other words Jesus is the Holy Spirit.
The service was led by K. Ekonbeni with Renbeni Ngullie as the pianist and cantor was Akhyo Kikon. Earlier, invocation prayer was pronounced by Abemo Jungio, Asso. Pastor WTBC.
On the first day, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Senior Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church said without discipleship, the great commission of God cannot be fulfilled. He said there is disciple crisis in Nagaland but God is looking for people who are focus, disciplined and ready to pay the price for Him.
As much as the society needs reformation, it needs transformation for the inner change, elaborating more on the theme, Rev. Zotuo expressed that Christian life should not be just a 'smell' of joy but 'taste' the fullness of joy and called upon the believers that we must arise from where the world is darkening and rise above it.
