Kohima, September 7 (MExN): All battery-operated vehicles will have green number plates exhibiting registration marks in yellow or white depending on the categories of the vehicles, the state. For transport vehicles, the registration mark is Yellow colour on Green background, while for all other cases, it would be White colour on Green background. A DIPR report citing a Transport Department’s notification informed that the new rules are in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in a notification issued on August 7, 2018.
