Kohima, July 21 (MExN): Nagaland’s Governor PB Acharya today inducted Er. TS Angami as chairperson of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) and A Wopen Lotha as Member NPSC at a programme held here at Raj Bhavan.
Acharya administered the oath taking ceremony which was attended by Nagaland’s Chief Secretary Temjen Toy, IAS, Principal Secretary to Governor Piyush Goyal, IAS, Secretary NPSC and Members of NPSC.
Er. TS Angami retired as Director, New & Renewable Energy, Government of Nagaland in February this year, while A Wopen Lotha retired as Commissioner & Secretary, Home & IPR in November 2017.
58 years old and hailing from Nerhema village under Kohima district, Er. TS Angami told The Morung Express that to hold the office of the NSPC as chairperson is an uphill task and challenging.
He hoped to strive to restore the prestigious institution of the NPSC.
