‘Tsüphiekro’ Vol-2 music album released

Kohima, April 3 (MExN): The Angami Baptist Church Council, Men’s Department started a choral group called ‘Tsüphiekro’ in the year 2006. On April 2, Tsüphiekro-Vol-2 ,titled  “Puo Thezieshülie” (Give Him thanks) was released by Rev Dr. Atsi Dolie, Executive Director, ABCC, at ABCC Mission Centre, Kohima in the presence of all the cabinet and staff of ABCC, President, Daso Paphino and colleagues of ABCC, Men’s Department and Tsüphiekro members.

According to a press release, the album has 12 gospel songs, all in Tenyidie. The videos were shot at different churches of Kohima district, Music Academy Jotsoma, Puliebadze Base Camp area, some other places of Kohima by Rokose Tetso and part of Maple Studio, Kohima. Some of the clippings are from the Holy land and its surroundings as some of the group members visited Jerusalem in 2013. Recording was done at Clef Ensemble, Kohima.

Tsüphiekro group consists of businessmen, technocrats, doctors, theologians, teachers, professional musicians, singers, etc. Since the beginning, this group has been performing at all major programs of ABCC and Individual churches under it to glorify the Lord.

Tsüphiekro released its first album named- “A ruopfü chü perheila shücie” (Revive my spirit) in 2010. “The first album was a blessing for the young and the old alike. Being encouraged by the impact it had on the people, the group decided to come up with another volume in the year 2011," the press release informed.
