Tuensang, June 11 (MExN): Tuensang District Task Force for COVID-19 held a meeting at DC’s Conference Hall on June 11 was chaired by DC & Chairman DTF Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant.

A DIPR report stated that the members reviewed the extended lockdown SOP for the district. The members decided to appeal to the house owners of those shops which are affected by a month long closure due to lockdown for rent consideration while the Tuensang Town Council has agreed to consider the rent of the tenants of the TTC owned shops.

The plying of the local taxis will be allowed on odd and even manner but the driver must be COVID tested compulsorily for which the testing is scheduled for June 13.

With the money generated from penalties from the defaulters of the COVID appropriate behavior, the DTF Tuensang will open up a bank for pulse oximeters and thermometers. The bank will be assisting the needy patients and the bank will also be open to receive the mentioned kinds from any donors.

Programme on special and extensive drive for COVID vaccination which will cover the whole of Tuensang Town in its first phase while it will target to fully vaccinate Yali village on June 13.

Tuensang COVID Care Center at Government Polytechnic, Sedem was activated on June 11, and the CCC will provide proper services to all the asymptomatic COVID patients of the district without the proper facilities for home isolation.
