Kohima, March 3 (MExN): The Kohima Police has arrested two persons for possessing 80 (eighty) Kilos of contraband ganja.
The Sub – Divisional Police Officer & PRO Kohima, Atu Zumvü NPS in a press note said they were arrested while the police manning Peducha check gate were checking and frisking duties and recovered the items from an Maruti Alt car.
Consequently, two person identified as Manikho Adarhü (19 yrs) and Kholi Asholi (19), both residents of of Sazouba Village, under Mao PS in Senapati District, Manipur were taken into police custody for illegal possession and transporting contraband ganja, the police added.
The official said a regular case was registered against them at Sechü (Zübza) P.S and they were remanded into police custody for conducting further investigation.
