Kohima, May 7 (MExN): A Highway Patrol Party of Kohima Police intercepted one black Scorpio bearing registration number NL10 7922 and seized 27 cases of assorted illegal Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) at Peducha on May 7.
According to a press release from the PRO, DEF Kohima, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Vijay Prasad (27) and an occupant, Abeto Aye (36) were arrested and taken into custody along with the government registered vehicle.
In this connection, a case has been registered at Sechü (Zubza) Police Station for further investigation, it added.
