DIMAPUR, JULY 24 (MExN): Dimapur defeated Kohima by 10 wickets and Wokha defeated Peren by one wicket in the first day of the of the Nagaland U16 Inter District Cricket tournament being organized by Nagaland Cricket Association at the NCA Stadium.
In the first match, Dimapur won the toss and decided to field first. Kohima were bowled out for 62 runs in 18.2 overs. In the second innings, Dimapur reached the target of 65 without losing a single wicket in 15.1 overs.
In the seconf match, Peren won the toss and decided to bat first. The managed to score 112 runs I n 24.5 overs before being bowled out. Wokha reached the target of 113 runs losing only 4 wickets in 22 overs.
On Wednesday, Dimapur will take on Peren at 8:30am and Wokha will take on Mokokchung at 12:30pm.
