Newmai News Network Senapati | March 22 The United Naga Council (UNC) has said that its indefinite ban on all construction works of the national projects including the trans-national highway and also the picketing of Manipur government offices in 'Naga areas' have also been lifted along with the lifting of the economic blockade on March 19 midnight. UNC General Secretary S Milan said that all forms of agitation launched by the Naga body has been lifted following the "fruitful" talks of Sunday. He expressed hope that with the coming of a "new government in Manipur and a new leadership and new initiatives," things will turn for a better. The UNC also expressed hope that the government will be practical to what "it assures" to the Naga people.
