Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) today urged the Department of PWD(R&B) Government of Nagaland to uphold the tripartite agreement “as suggested” between the Department, the Contractors and the NFHRCC for an effective and transparent implementation of the works along with the respective Tribal Hohos in their respective jurisdictions.
It further called upon the department to award works judiciously only to the “reasonable contractors/firms with sound financial and technical backings to execute the works.” The Committee further urged the department to refrain from entertaining “any abnormal rates quoting by the bidding contractors in order to maintain good workmanship quality while executing the tasks.”
