Dimapur July 19 (MExN): The United Sangtam Likhum Bumji (USLB) has strongly expressed resentment at the press statement issued by the NSCN (K) USR on July 9 in a section of the local print media. The USLB held an emergency meeting with different organizations under the United Sangtam tribe on July 14 at Yangli Centre over the statement regarding Naga ‘outsiders’ under Kiphire, Longkhim-Chare division stated a USLB statement through its president R Tsapikiu Sangtam. “The USLB in its meeting appealed to all factions not to encourage such policies when the publics are emphasizing on reconciliation process” it stated. The meeting appealed to the groups to maintain peace under the Sangtam jurisdiction and also requested the factions not to use the Christian Mission Centre as their resting camp. The meeting also requested the USR members of all the factions to have cordial relationship with the USLB and refrain from issuing provocative press releases, it was added.
