Dimapur, July 24 (MExN): The NNC Parent Body has stated “once again for once and for all” that its leader V. Nagi “was and is officially empowered with executive power to speak, negotiate and take decision on behalf of the NNC Parent Body in the interest o
f Naga people will do the job of political negotiation as the only officially declared unanimously by the NNC Parent Body.” The declaration is especially to those concerned people “involved in our political affairs with destructive politics of conspiracy against our leader V. Nagi,” stated a press release from Y.C. Lotha, Information and Publicity Wing, NNC Parent Body.
“In fact, the declaration has been done again in recent times in the official Speech of Acting President (Z. Royim) of NNC Parent Body on the occasion of Naga National Plebiscite Day of 16th May, 2018,” the release asserted.
“This decision was taken and done again in the Central Executive Council Member's meeting on 8th May and 10th May of 2018 at Dimapur with thorough discussion on this matter as required politically,” it added.
In this regard, the NNC Parent Body stated that “There was and is no confusion or dispute in this political matter as such since our leader has been empowered and entrusted for political negotiations with all concerned party or parties and Government or Governments.”
It further asserted categorically that “nobody can change or replace the officially empowered and entrusted leader who has been doing all the political and official works with integrity, experience and boldness for the Naga people and its land.”
This is a matter of “serious concern,” affirmed the NNC Parent body, further cautioning “those leader or leaders not to interfere with their destructive politics in the independent affairs of the NNC Parent Body.”
