VGs reiterate disagreement on VG officers on deputation

Dimapur, Oct 31 (MExN): Village Guards under Kiphire, Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Phek have reiterated their disagreement with the posting of VG officers on deputation “who does not know the way of living faced by the VGs”.

“That Sir in spite of our representation for the last 10  years or so, still then no action has been taken so far by the government of Nagaland. In this connection, we, the VGs of Kiphire, Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Phek districts do not agree for posting of VG Officers on deputation continuing from the order side to be posted at 5 district, who does not known the way of living faced by the VGs. Moreover, even unfitness/irregularity towards their duties have badly exploited our VG’s organization” stated a representation addressed to the Additional Chief Secretary & Commissioner, Nagaland. The representation was signed by Hav. Major Tsaseto and Yankimong, President of Kiphire VGs Association and General Secretary respectively.

“Moreover, we the VGs of above given 5(five) district are basically disturbed. Our rule is to maintain law and order in our region. We are deeply concerned to our pride and prestige of the department. Therefore, a priority for posting our experienced Regional Officers at the Head of the Office must be given, so that the vast experience of the region may have full of pride and generosity and that may be utilized positively for the department” the VGs stated and has appealed that the matter be looked into with a positive response “so that the exploitation may be prevented”.
