Kohima | December 16
Even as the Dimapur ADC Judicial awards life imprisonment to Bendangtemsu (alias Krieketozu) on December 4 last for brutally murdering his father Lt. Vincent Dziivichii, the relatives and Dziivichii clan of Kohima village has demanded for a fresh ‘un-bias’ investigation either through CBI or Special Investigation Team.
Relatives and members of the Dziivichii clan told a press conference that they are demanding for CBI inquiry as the charge sheet had been submitted without proper investigation and still there is many ‘truth’ of the murder which is yet to be unearthed.
They also demanded that the case against Rosemary and one other key witness by former Dimapur SP Biddu Shekar accusing them of hatching up the story be withdrawn or else cautioned to take their own course of action to seek justice.
Both of them are still on anticipatory bail. Pointing out loopholes in the investigation process Rosemary alleged that the investigation as bias; charge sheet incomplete and was submitted before narco-analysis of the convict was conducted. She also alleged that even the polygraph test was questionable, and the statements of the witness were not mentioned in the charge sheet and no post mortem report was made available by the police.
Reacting to the news report of a local daily on the ADC (judicial) Mayanglima judgment that Bendang had murdered his late father for showing more love and affection towards his step brother and that there was no conspiracy involving any other person, Rosemary contested by stating that the police did not make any mention of involvement of Babe, wife of Vincent and Bendang’s stepmother. She argued that as revealed by the police video tape during the preliminary interrogation, Bendang had earlier admitted that his step mother was the brain behind the murder, but the police did not make any serious attempt to investigate this statement of the accused.
She also maintained that Bendang alone can never commit such brutal murder and conveyed her conviction that one person can not commit the murder and more people were involved in the murder.
“We are ready to move to central government for CBI inquiry”, Rosemary said. They have written several letters to the state Chief Minister, Home Minister and DGP for impartial investigation”, she disclosed.
Rosemary said that when the family is still undergoing trauma, the Dimapur police was constantly harassing them and had defamed the family by turning the case against her.
“We are feeding them with all our finding, but the police took it otherwise. There are so many suspicious things the police did not investigate” Rosemary stated. “I want the truth about my brother’s death. We will go till end to find justice”, Rosemary told the press. She lamented that even the media was ‘gag’ in her brother’s murder case.
