Vipassana meditation course in Dimapur

Dimapur, December 17 (MExN): Ten-day Vipassana Meditation Gypsy Camp will be organized from January 5, 2018 onwards at the premises of Dimapur Dhamma Vihar, Kevijau village here by Assistant Teacher Suparimal Barua as nominated by the Vipassana Research Institute, Igatpuri (Maharashtra).  

A press release from Course Manager N Barua informed that all interested aspirants from the North Eastern Region belonging to the age group of 18 years and above, irrespective of caste, creed, sex, and religion, may participate in the course and acquire the simple and scientific ancient technique of meditation, which is known as Art of Living.  

Vipassana, one of India's most ancient meditation techniques, “leads to the releases of tensions and opens the knots as tied up by old habits,” according to the press release.  

The course is completely residential and free of cost. Participants have been advised to go through the Code of Discipline before enrolling his/her name for such course. The selected participants will have to stay for 10 days at the Gypsy Camp during the course. Seats are very limited and selection will be made on first come first serve basis, the release added.
