With the emphasis on hand hygiene as an essential practice to avoid infection in the present pandemic, a Self Help Group in Peducha village has come up with their own home grown solution for the village community. The Self help Group called Viphre Group under Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission has installed three bamboo pole hand wash facility with soap and water dispenser in crucial junctions in the village. According to Neikho Shosahie, the facility is bio-friendly and will also help ensure awareness of hygiene in the village.
