DIMAPUR, OCT 11 (MExN): The public of Viswema Village had its general meeting in the Panchayat Hall, Viswema today in connection with the cold blooded murder of Late Hovizol Puyo by unidentified gunmen on October 3 at AOC, Kohima. About 1500 prominent village leaders and members attended the said meeting, informed Kehokhul Angami, Chairman of Viswema Village Council in a press note.
The mass meeting unanimously condemned the inhuman act of murder of an innocent son of Viswema and resolved to ask the state government to bring the culprits to book within 15 days and punish them as per the law of the land.
The public also resolved that since the NSCN (IM) and NSCN (K) had both blamed each other of carrying out the murder of Late Hovizol Puyo, hence both the factions should conduct enquiries and bring out the names of the culprits and reason of murdering Late Hovisol Puyo within 15 days.
Failing to comply with the above two demands, the Viswema village community has decided to take its own course of action for which the community should not be held responsible for any untoward incident, the press note warned.
