Vellore, March 18 (MExN): Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has crossed 10,000 placement offers for the 2026 batch, marking the fourth time the institution has achieved this milestone and reinforcing its position in campus recruitment.
According to the latest placement data, a total of 10,071 offers have been secured from 701 companies, with the recruitment drive still ongoing.
The highest annual package offered this season stands at ₹1 crore, reflecting the global competitiveness of VIT students.
Among the offers, 696 were classified as marquee offers with a cost-to-company (CTC) of ₹20 lakh per annum and above. Additionally, 2,292 super dream offers with a CTC of ₹10 lakh per annum and above were recorded, while 3,333 dream offers carried a CTC of ₹6 lakh per annum and above.
The figures include both internships and full-time placements and highlight the institute’s continued collaboration with leading corporate organisations.
The strong placement performance underscores VIT’s focus on academic excellence and industry-oriented training, aimed at producing job-ready graduates equipped to meet evolving global demands.
