DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 20 (DIPR): In order to educate the voters for the upcoming Assembly Election 2018, DC & DEO Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel and his team of officials started VVPAT demonstration drive in Dimapur district. The Demonstration drive started in November, 2017 and shall continue till the completion of the upcoming Assembly Election 2018.
The administrative officers & sector officers of Dimapur have been instructed to inform the people about time, date & venue of the VVPAT demonstration well in advance for larger participation. The officials shall also clarify the doubts of the voters if any.
The VVPAT demonstration calendar for Dimapur district is made and shall be communicated to the people by their respective administrative officers. The VVPAT demonstration drives are continuing in Niuland & Dhansiripar sub-division. The DC has also appealed for participation in the VVPAT demonstration drive and pledge for ethical voting.
