Water Harvesting Structure in Phesachodu inaugurated

Phek, March 2 (MExN): With an aim to elude water scarcity in the village, the Phek Forest Division constructed a water harvesting structure for the village community at Phesachodu village, Phek district.  

During the inauguration programme held on the last week of February 2016, DFO Phek Rongsenlemla Imchen IFS highlighted the importance of forest and wild life conservation in relation to efficient use of water and its management. She appreciated the village community for cooperating with the department with regard to forest conservation and its related matters.   The programme was attended by Village Council Chairman, Council members, GB’s, local functionaries and forest department staffs.
