Mokokchung, March 8 (MExN): Watsü Mungdang celebrated International Women's Day at AKM conference hall in collaboration with Women Resource Development Department and Mokokchung District Legal Services Authority.
The programme also announced the winners of the college level essay competition organized by the Watsü Mungdang on the topic "Value of Women is not merely that of a birth machine".
Imkongnukla of Patkai Christian College was declared the winner, Ekumsangla of Mokokchung College of Teacher Education secured second position, and Bendangienla Amer of Clark Theological College won the third prize. Five Consolation prizes were given to Tekatoshi of Discipleship Bible College, Satipong S. Longkumer of Jubilee Memorial College, Mereienla Jamir of Tetso College, Sashitola Aier of People's College, and Lanurenba of Fazl Ali College.
