The structure of a society plays an instrumental role in the development of its citizens, so is the role of an individual in a society. It is the individual that builds a society therefore society presides by how individual behaves. An individual's behaviour determines the nature of the society and so it influences each other. Both the component cannot function independently, they are inseparable. You and I are the key when it comes to the welfare of the society.
We blame and claim that we live in a chaotic, corrupted society when we are the root of it. When we live in a chaotic, injustice, hatred, insecurity, disunity environment etc the blame is always on the society, as if we don't have our hands on it. We would never see somebody's image in a mirror while looking at it, we'll only see ourselves. So it is never the society nor somebody to be blamed, it is you and I.
If we have to blame the society, we have to hate ourselves since we are the society. Everything, both good and evil in society is the consequences of our actions. If we truly believe that we cannot change our habits or behaviour to achieve our goal, then we are powerless and worthless and every horrible things society does to you is justified. Society doesn't judge you or stabbed you from behind. It's the justice for what you did to others. Have you ever find yourself digging someone witness of see yourself I a place criticizing and backbiting others, if so don’t expect things to be normal when it's your turn and don’t put a blame on the society. Everything is connected and responsibilities lie on you and I.
Here is my challenge to you and I
Stop blaming and make change happen. And when you decide to blame "society" Realise that you are blaming yourself and not a fictitious idea that is supposed to be used as a scapegoat for our issue that we caused. How about fixing our daily issues, no gossip, no cheat, no lies, no procrastination? How about walking the talk? How about taking ownership to mend what we cause in our society and stop the blame game? How about stopping to differentiate government and private job.
No doubt, “Knowledge is power” But it becomes a threat when we don't put it into practice. You and I can just talk, talk and talk and never show any steps. Knowledge with action is a must for a better society.
Today, if our society is in a bad shape the blame is on you and I.
Be a responsible citizen and make our society a better place to live in.
