James 1:22 says, ‘….be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.’ In contrary to what the Scripture said, instead of obeying His word the Nagas are offending God and drifting away from Him. Also James 4:4 declares ‘…. anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.’ Yet the Nagas have associated with the worlds, become her friends and now competing and rushing after its pleasure. Again, in Romans 8:13 it says ‘….if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die….’ The Nagas could not abide in the word of God but forcibly marching toward hell where there is eternal torment by running after earthly fame, wealth, filled with hatred, bitterness, fighting and killing one another.
I want to bring the account of a rich young ruler who once encountered with Christ and enquired with Him about what he needed to do to inherit eternal life. Taking this account into the Naga context I want each beloved Naga to ponder once again into our own lives. Perhaps, that rich young ruler was rather more obedient and faithful than any Nagas! Because he promptly replied he did not steal, he did not tell lie, did not extort, did not bear false witness, obeyed his parents, etc, etc. Yet still then he lacked one thing – for which he was unable to take the way to the eternal life (Mark 10: 17-22)
What happened to the Nagas? I am tremendously worried and troubled. Many Nagas claim that they are born again and they have received the Holy Spirit but I want to say something on this subject. The Scripture in John 14:17 strongly affirmed that ‘The Spirit of Truth…. the world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him....’ Can the Holy Spirit come upon a person who indulges in the worldly and licentious affair? As long as a person is associating with the world and its lust, the Holy Spirit cannot come upon him. That person may want to receive the Holy Spirit, yet sometime the evil spirit can disguise like the Holy Spirit and perturb him.
I want to put down a few tips that you can identify whether the Holy Spirit is in you or not:
1. The Holy Spirit does not drift apart from the word of the Holy Scripture.
2. The Holy Spirit can think and discern between good and evil and has the power over evil.
3. The Holy Spirit has the power to get rid from all evil practices, thoughts and plans.
4. The Holy Spirit hates the things that lead us to make friends with the world and he has the power to flee from them.
Therefore, if a person has received the Holy Spirit, He will sanctify him (Rom. 15:16, 1 Pet. 1:2) and will show him and take him to the way to the Kingdom of God.
Those of you who think and claim that you are born again, I want you to reason once from the scripture. I John 3:9 says, ‘Whoever has been born or God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin because he has been born of God.’ Dear beloved Nagas, have we fully understood about being born again?! Whoever is born again will be able to overcome the world. He will not rush after the beauty of the world, its lust, its fame, nor its riches and glory. But he will only yearn to do what is pleasing in the eyes of God! Thus, sin cannot touch him. ‘....and this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith’ (l John 5:4). In relation to the text, is there any Naga who can overcome the world? Is there any Naga who can acquire eternal life?
