Witter Theological College graduation ceremony

Wokha, April 8 (DIPR): Witter Theological College (WTC) held its 69th graduation ceremony on March 21 at Lonjung Baptist Church (LBC), Vankhosung, Wokha with the theme “Mount up to make a difference” based on Isaiah 40:31.   The graduation day also saw the phasing out of Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) programme presently offered by the college. The college will continue to offer Bachelor of Divinity (BD) program, which was started in the year 2013 when it got provisional affiliation to the Senate of Serampore College/University. Altogether, seven students were conferred with B. Th. Diploma.

  The diplomas and certificates were conferred by Dr. Moanunsang, Principal, and dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Rev. Dr. Ezamo Murry, Board member, WTC. Proficiency and other awards were given away by Rev. M.C. Kithan, Executive Secretary, LBES.   The guest speaker Mhonchumo, Associate Pastor, KLBC, while speaking on the theme encouraged and challenged the graduating students by emphasizing on practical aspects of ministry and the importance of making a difference in people’s lives, the church and the society. The Best Graduate award was bagged by Binyemjong Chang, while the Proficiency and Scripture Knowledge awards went to N. Shanchobeni Odyuo and Adeno Y. Odyuo respectively.
