Dimapur, August 4 (MExN): In a dazzling celebration of charisma, culture, and confidence, Wizunwangbo Irangguang was crowned Mr Dimapur 2025 at the grand finale held at Zone Niathu by the Park on August 2 evening. The event, curated by Meraki Entertainment Nagaland, marked the fifth season of the pageant, drawing a vibrant crowd and shining a spotlight on the rising talent of the region.
After a closely contested evening showcasing poise, intellect, and individuality, Imnamoa Ozukum and Paurangbe secured 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively,
The competition unfolded over three rounds, ethnic wear, designer wear, and formal wear, with 19 contestants vying for the coveted title.
The official designer was C Bukam Phom alongside the main crown, the evening honoured outstanding individuals with sub-titles: Kenny Lotha was awarded Mr Multimedia, Paurangbe received Mr Popularity, Senti Aier was named Mr Perfect, Samuel Magh earned Mr Talent, and Imnasangba was declared the Face of Sunrider Nagaland.
The finale was graced by dignitaries including PJ Nayak, Policy Analyst and Strategic Advisor, and Dr Tia Longkumer, Microbiologist, Proprietor of Health Nursing School, and Vice Chairman of Meraki Entertainment.
A panel of judges featured Imnasenla Rachel, Director of Mr Nagaland; Arinjay Jain, Proprietor of Royal Oak; Rohan Talwar, Partner of Ocean Hospitality; Aghato K Naga, Founder and Director of King Chilli Entertainment; Alemla Tovi, Councillor of East Dimapur Council; and Esther Ngullie, Miss Grand Northeast 2023.
Special performances were delivered by Moko Koza, African Amakshiu, Bridhi Aaron Gurung, Chümoukedima Dance and Fits Studio, and Neisenuo Shuya.
Throughout the journey, the contestants were mentored, groomed, and choreographed by Sanjeev Tamang, with Joel Anthony, Mr. Dimapur 2024, serving as co-mentor. The event was hosted with grace by Neiketuno Sechii, Miss Nagaland 2023, while Kilen Naro managed the contestants.
Makeup for all contestants was done by Kachen and Tenusin. The event’s official photography was handled by Tokito, while Neikha’s Film took charge of videography. The trophies were sponsored by Akinoto.
